Northern Kentucky University is a public university in Highland Heights, Kentucky just south of Cincinnati, Ohio. NKU has over 14,000 students served by more than 2,000 faculty and staff and offers over 70 majors, 22 Master’s Programs and one Law School. Northern Kentucky University has always cared for and invested in student and employee wellness and recently layered these efforts with a Employee Engagement & Wellbeing initiative that aims to support faculty and staff by providing holistic resources and tools to help them thrive in the workplace and drive student success.

Kim Baker, Director of University Wellness, NKU

Kim Baker, current Director of Wellness at Northern Kentucky University. Member and previous faculty of the Wellness Council of America (Welcoa), Certified Exercise Physiologist of the American College of Sports Medicine with over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness field in varying capacities.

Carly Rospert, Consultant to NKU on Employee Engagement & Wellbeing

Carly Rospert is a co-founder of Highwell, an international network interested in raising well-being in higher education. She has been working for four years with NKU and local non-profits as a Mayerson Academy consultant to transform workplace cultures into ones that increase engagement and wellbeing for all employees.
